Rachit Kumar

Rachit is an MBA candidate at the University of Georgia, concentrating on marketing, analytics, and strategy. He comes from the city of Bangalore in India, which is also referred to as the Silicon Valley of India. Prior to his MBA journey, Rachit worked with technology MNCs as a tech consultant and solutions engineer.

Rachit has been involved in supporting and working with non-profits right from his high school days. He is personally proud of his involvement in the vaccination drive for COVID-19 in his neighborhood in India. He always wanted to be involved in initiatives that not only helped firms be profitable but were also purpose-driven. Prior to joining UGA, he was aware of the Non-Profits Fellows program and B Local Georgia and was keen on being involved in projects helping organizations sustainably scale and give back to their community.

He believes that his prior experiences and the learnings from the MBA program and the passion to make a difference is everything that B Local Georgia can provide. When not working, Rachit is an avid gamer and loves to watch sports.
